The wind has backed off a bit post-noon, but still blowing mostly steadily and enticingly. This just the wind speed I love - enough for the boat to be moving at or nearly hull speed consistently with working sail. There'd be motion, but not too severe (actually, probably not enough for me to be paranoid - the kind of wind where I spill sodas and lose my bowl of food because I put it down somewhere I shouldn't have.)
Okay, it's from the wrong direction. But still. Maybe a long, shallow upwind beat once or twice across the Georgia Strait....
But I'm landbound without money and with too many things on my future plate. Must schedule nothing after March 15th.
